Why Care About Handcrafted?

As a builder I’m frequently asked, "What is the difference between a milled factory log home and a handcrafted log home?" With a handcrafted log home each home is one of a kind. Each log is hand peeled and hand scribed to custom fit the next log. No two logs are alike on the home. We have used trees with up to 265 rings with diameters up to 36" at the base. The logs used are antique but your handcrafted home is brand new. The logs are preserved and protected for generations. Imagine the value and investment in a home crafted in this manner.
